In discussion about your child's needs we will work together to determine how music services will support their specific areas of focus and how this music service intervention is expected to deliver outcomes.
Parenting support and programs.
Music services are usually provided one on one to allow for individual engagement with involvement from parent(s). This environment is supportive to both the child and the parent.
Targeted Developmental Supports.
Therapies are based on 10+ years experience working with children with a wide range of requirements, pathologies and goals. Music services are based from evidence based and qualified music therapy practices to enhance and further the child's capabilities in areas such as; Fine and Gross motor skills, speech and language, behaviour management, early intervention, school readiness.
Wade Smith operates the music services under Tune Into Music.
Qualifications are:
Master Creative Music Therapy, Western Sydney University.
Bachelor of Arts (Social and Cultural Analysis), Western Sydney University.

Practice Principles and Approach
Our music program utilizes music to enhance a person's own musicality, growth, and expression. We offer engagement to suit which is aligned with the national Thriving Kids principles.
The service encourages children to express themselves in collaboration with families and parents to develop the child's potential through active music participation, receptive listening and engagement.
With the participation of families and parents, every child is encouraged to demonstrate their strengths as they also learn new concepts, skills and tasks with focussed outcomes.
Using music as the intermediary (with or without any previous musical skills) allows music to participate in an enjoyable activity and at the same time reaching non-musical goals for their growth and development as evidenced in journals and publications.
Service Model
Any child can participate with our musical activities without any formal diagnosis.
Families are actively encouraged to inform on what musical history the child has enjoyed and engaged in the family environment.
Services are provided in either a family centric studio (near Kanwal Public School) or within the family home (depending on local location).
Previous experience in delivering these music services has included a wide range of cultures and diversity embracing family requirements and allowing a vast history of knowledge and adaptability to the family settings and needs.
